These products are vital for numerous sectors, including industrial motor drives, power conversion, automotive electronics, electric vehicle infrastructure, power supplies, data centers, telecommunications, medical equipment, alternative energy systems, building and home automation, appliances, and mobile electronic devices. Transportation Segment: This segment provides specialized solutions for the automotive industry, offering a variety of fuses (blade, resettable, high-current, and high-voltage, particularly for hybrid and electric vehicles), battery cable protectors, switches, relays, circuit breakers, and power distribution modules for commercial vehicles. It also supplies various sensor products. Customers in this segment include original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier-I suppliers, and parts distributors across diverse vehicle markets like passenger cars, heavy-duty trucks, off-road vehicles, material handling equipment, agricultural machinery, construction vehicles, and other commercial applications. Industrial Segment: Littelfuse's Industrial division supplies robust fuses, protection relays, contactors, transformers, and temperature sensors. These components are utilized in demanding applications such as renewable energy generation and storage systems, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC systems, industrial safety, non-residential construction, maintenance/repair/operations (MRO), mining, and industrial automation. The company distributes its products to a global clientele through a multi-channel network comprising its direct sales force, independent manufacturers' representatives, and a broad array of authorized distributors. Littelfuse, Inc. was established in 1927 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
