This segment also delivers integrated stepper motors, sophisticated robotic end-effectors, air bearings, and air bearing spindles. Novanta distributes its extensive product lines through various channels, including its dedicated direct sales team, value-added resellers, distribution partners, and system integrators. These offerings are available under well-known brand names such as Cambridge Technology, Synrad, Laser Quantum, ARGES, WOM, NDS, NDSsi, Med X Change, Reach Technology, JADAK, ThingMagic, Photo Research, Celera Motion, MicroE, Zettlex, Applimotion, Ingenia, and Westwind. Founded in 1968, the company operated as GSI Group, Inc. until its rebranding to Novanta Inc. in May 2016. Its corporate headquarters are located in Bedford, Massachusetts.
