Beyond traditional lending and deposits, OFG Bancorp also provides financial planning, insurance, and trust services for both corporate and individual clients, as well as retirement plan administration. The firm extends its offerings to securities brokerage and investment advisory, assisting retail and institutional investors with various investment vehicles, including tax-advantaged fixed income instruments, mutual funds, stocks, and bonds. This segment also manages separately-managed accounts and offers mutual fund asset allocation programs. Furthermore, OFG Bancorp is engaged in insurance agency and reinsurance activities, and its Treasury segment actively manages an investment portfolio composed of mortgage-backed securities, U.S. government-sponsored agency obligations, U.S. Treasury securities, and money market instruments. It also participates in and manages public and private placements of debt and equity. Additional services encompass money management and investment banking.
