Additionally, it recovers and markets crude oil, handles the disposal of solids like tank bottoms and drilling fluids, performs truck and frac tank washouts, and supplies water for reuse, recycling, or as brackish non-potable water. The Crude Oil Logistics segment is responsible for purchasing crude oil from producers and marketers, then transporting it to refineries. Resales occur at various points, including pipeline injection stations, storage terminals, barge loading facilities, rail facilities, refineries, and other trading hubs. This segment further provides essential storage, terminaling, and pipeline transportation services. Through its Liquids Logistics segment, NGL Energy Partners supplies natural gas liquids, refined petroleum products, and biodiesel to a diverse clientele of commercial, retail, and industrial customers throughout the United States and Canada. Its operations are supported by a network of 24 proprietary terminals, numerous third-party storage and terminal facilities, nine common carrier pipelines, and a fleet of leased railcars. Furthermore, this segment manages the marine export of butane from its facility situated in Chesapeake, Virginia. NGL Energy Holdings LLC acts as the company's general partner. Established in 1940, the company maintains its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
