Ramaco Resources, Inc. is a company primarily engaged in the exploration, production, and sale of metallurgical coal. The firm manages a diverse array of development and operational assets. Its project holdings include the Elk Creek property, encompassing roughly 20,200 acres in southern West Virginia, and the Berwind property, an extensive 62,500-acre site situated along the West Virginia and Virginia border. Additionally, Ramaco operates the Knox Creek property, which covers approximately 64,050 acres within Virginia; the Maben property, a 28,000-acre tract spanning southwestern Pennsylvania and southern West Virginia; and the Brook Mine property, located in northeastern Wyoming and covering about 16,000 acres. The company supplies its high-quality coal to various customers, including blast furnace steel mills and coke manufacturing facilities across North America, as well as other international consumers of metallurgical coal. Founded in 2015, Ramaco Resources, Inc. is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky.
