The Energy Trading segment manages the company's energy marketing and trading activities. Finally, the Corporate and Other segment includes holding company functions, oversees certain non-utility debt and investments, and provides funding for regional development and economic expansion initiatives. The company was founded in January 1995 and its headquarters are located in Detroit, Michigan.
