Check-Cap Ltd. is an Israeli medical diagnostics company currently in the clinical development phase. It is dedicated to advancing a novel capsule-based screening method that employs ultra-low-dose X-rays. This technology is designed to thoroughly examine the internal surface of the colon, aiming to identify precancerous polyps and other structural irregularities. The company's primary offering, the C-Scan system, is composed of three integral parts: the C-Scan Cap, an ingestible X-ray scanning capsule for detecting suspected polyps; the C-Scan Track, a disposable unit that adheres to the patient's back via biocompatible adhesive patches; and the C-Scan View software.
