Analyst Q&A
Analyst Tycho Peterson asked: I have a lot of people asking why you are not accelerating here. Appreciate your comments on bioproduction a minute ago. You had the order resin delays, obviously, in biotech, that should come through. You do not have the China VBP headwind. You have recovering biotech, academic picking up a bit. So, why on earth would ex-respiratory be the same? Management Julie Sawyer Montgomery answered: As Matt discussed, we've delivered core growth ex respiratory in the 4%-5% range the last few quarters, so we think that's a reasonable starting point for 2027 based on the current end market conditions. I'm only a few weeks into the CEO role, but the time I spent with our teams and customers has certainly reinforced my confidence in our positioning and the improving end markets. We really want to work through our typical planning process here that we go through in Q4, then we will provide you a more quantitative outlook in January.
